I would not recommend it because the servers are often overloaded because there's not enough of them , and it was very buggy when I played such as dropping out of server intermittently no, not my connection , server kicking everyone out for no reason, certain shots not registering so the target doesn't take any damage, etc.

Granted, these may have been resolved since last I played, but it's obvious EA's not putting their resources in this game. I personally still play Enemy Territory as I think it's the most balanced online FPS game even though it first came out in !

It's still played quite competitively in Europe, and it is for sure a team-based game rambo-ing can still be done in pub servers, so depends on the servers too. Quake Live is not bad, definitely nostalgic.
