Remove welcome center windows 7




















I tried the following registry edits, found on the Internet. Same results as above, no Welcome Screen on the first reboot, but appears everytime beginning with the second reboot: 1.

Right clicked on WindowsWelcomeCenter and deleted. This key was recreated upon second reboot. Right clicked on WindowsWelcomeCenter and changed the path to a - hyphen. This key was recreated upon second reboot, with the path filled in again as if I never edited it.

Double clicked on DisplayCount to show a decimal value of I changed the decimal value to 2. I read that initially, Vista will display the Welcome Screen two times before you can remove the checkmark to stop it from displaying.
